From start-up to Inc. 5000 in just a few years.
Founded in 2012 by Issac Turpin and Mark Lever.
In 2010, two best friends Mark Lever and Issac Turpin decided to do what they knew best, working hard with their hands. Choosing disaster cleanup and restoration services was easy because of Mark’s experience as a plumber. Many of the jobs Mark would go to as a plumber had significant water damage and his job at the time was to only repair the leak, not the damage it caused. He saw the need for a company that has the experts on staff to do the entire job, correct the problem and fix the damage caused. Armed with the necessary equipment, IICRC certifications and the drive to create a successful company, True Builders was born.
Like many success stories, we delivered quality services at a fair price focusing mostly on the Winter Haven and Wesley Chapel markets (cities where the founders lived). As word spread about our business, we started expanding into all the cities in-between such as Plant City, Lakeland, Davenport and many others. Today, we are a force of over 50 full-time employees with every piece of state-of-the-art equipment needed to handle your job. We are now the leading restoration company for water damage, fire damage and general remodeling services in Central Florida.
In 2017, we received our highest honor yet. We made the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
